Happy birthday to . . .

Dr. Seuss! In honor of which, today is Read-Across-America day (seems awfully restrictive to me). Go read a book! (Like I need to tell this crowd that.)

I also have it on good authority that today's [livejournal.com profile] bonniers' birthday. Stop by and wish her well!

Eli is reading a story for Read-Across-America today. He was concerned he might get left out of the celebratory cake-eating. I assured him he wouldn't.

Sure, that counts!

Hmm, I might have to do a read of Fox in Socks for old time's sake. I have a particular talent for reading it fast and flawless. And I always imagine how wonderful it would sound with Michael Richards reading the part of the Fox, and Jason Alexander as Mr. Knox.

It might be Read-Across-America Day .... but where I am it's also World Book Day :D

I like having a birthday on World Book Day :) But I don't think my mother planned it that way.

We have Hop on Pop memorized. Something to do with a three-hour bus ride with a three-year-old Steven...
