LJ group hug

I stole this from mizkit, who got it from sammywol.

Today I propose an LJ-wide group hug. If you've got friends who are having a really shitty week, post this and a great big huge hug to everyone who needs or wants one. If everyone does this, we can maybe cancel out the bad karma with the overwhelming good karma of everyone who wants to help out a friend.

a different form of copy-editor

Jamie Kelly, of the Missoulian, ponders why people don't recognize the work of newspaper copy editors.

My favorite line: "I'd sure like to meet that copy editor and give him chocolate and a sack of cash."

Wouldn't that be something?

(For the record? I like copyeditor as one word. He uses the open compound. Some prefer it hyphenated. Pick your poison.)
