varkat) had Sarah A. Hoyt guest-blogging on her LJ not too long ago. The covers of her books look fantastic, and the post Hoyt did had its own bit of magic. I won one of the T-shirts being given away, and today it arrived in the mail -- showing the cover of the book Heart of Light, as well as a cobra-headed walking stick, a map, a watch, and other bits of geekery, along with the slogan "Travel on magical contraptions Across A Victorian world that never was." (Yes, the copyeditor in me wants to fix that capitalization.)
It's a gorgeous shirt, and as soon as NaNoWriMo is over, I'm checking out the books.
