Cliff-diving

In Ursula Vernon’s Hamster Princess books, Harriet Hamsterbone loves to go cliff-diving. In the first book, she is invincible, so why not jump off cliffs when you know you will always survive?
For the rest of us, it’s a riskier proposition. In this case, the cliff I’m facing is the “30-day cliff” for publication at Amazon, as today is the 30th day since I published Ghost Garages, and Siren Circle is not yet ready. I should survive this cliff, although my ratings will take a hit. And then we’ll see how book 3 goes. (I’m beginning to suspect 6 weeks rather than 4 may be a good estimate for me.)
