Stock up on .22 ammo. That'll boost your chances, according to The Zombie Survival Guide, which I've been reading like crazy today. And don't answer the door. That never ends well.

.22 ammo only helps if you have something to fire it with. A couple of the strikes against me are not having guns and not ever having handled one.

I'll keep the door in mind, though.
