There's very definitely a specific culture where guys get the attitude that the best way to show their love for their family is by providing for them, whether they spend time with the family or not. I remember Bonnie commenting when she heard some guys at Panera telling their friend that no, a sign of loving his family wasn't wanting to work less; working proved he loved them. So weird to keep seeing the attitude, which seems so outdated to me.
