Third place!

eimarraMy short story, "Moon Mad," took third place in the PARSEC Short Story Contest. Just got the mail, and I'm too giddy to concentrate at the moment, though I have much paying work to do. I'll admit to embarrassment at some of the things pointed out in the feedback. (However, the use of general fantasy tropes rather than a new world was a deliberate choice to showcase the appearance of the madness. Clearly, it didn't work as well as I'd hoped, but I have no regrets for the choice.)
