Late last night, I hit 50k--fastest I have ever written in my life! I'm still writing; my goal is to finish my 100k draft by the end of the month.

Oh, and a former resident of Lehigh Valley, currently in Western Massachusetts, has challenged our region to a word war. They're still ahead, but we're gaining!

Woo hoo! Congrats on the 50K! If you keep up this pace, you'll be able to make your "The End" with no problem. (Unless of course your 100K draft explodes into a 120K monster, or something.)

Thanks. It's taken me a long time to get this fast; I don't know what pushed me up there. I'm just really excited. I've been telling myself for a couple of years that I should be able to write 3k a day. Suddenly, I am. :-)
