debating on the wall paint

Okay, so some of you know that we're redoing our living/dining/hall area this summer.
We have one accent wall, and we decided to paint it in block shapes:


The original plan was to do a nice frottage faux finish (the darker color being where the blocks are currently painted with the orange spice):

Then we thought maybe we'd do just a solid color instead of the frottage on white:


But maybe it's too dark?
Have to make a decision today. Eep!
