Room's not done yet, but here's one shot to show you what we decided to go with for the wall. (Since the pic was taken, the carpet's been pulled out, underlayment's down, and hubby's more than halfway through getting the new flooring in.) Yes, really, there is frottage treatment on the orange bits.
