Oh, those lofty goals I had! Those struck through were completed. Those in italics were at least attempted. The others . . . not so much.

Date: 2008-10-02 04:37 am (UTC)Honestly? That wouldn't bother me so much if only those indexes were done. But they're not done, and the writing's not done, though I've made some progress on both. I'm going to feel such relief when I get past this. In fact, even though I've still got several proofreading jobs lined up this year as well as NaNo to think about, I'm going to start planning one morning a week (if not a full day) to just be. I think I need it.
We didn't get that many books, actually. I think he got 9 and I got 4. (They had an ARC of Thunderbird Falls!) And I've already got a stack of more than that that I've culled from the shelves to donate to them. But the standard deal is if he's good (school, home, whatever), then we go to the book sale and he can have all of the Secret of Droon and Magic Tree House books that they have for sale (if he doesn't have them already).

Well, it looks like you made a pretty good dent on that list -- you knew it was ambitious to begin with.
