Note to self: Regardless of what the doctor says, when the baby has been sick and not feeling herself *and* she just got two shots and so is even more out of her normal pattern, do NOT choose this night to let baby try to sleep through the night alone in her own room. Especially if you want to get some sleep.

Doctor says that a baby of 14 pounds at 3 months old has no reason to *not* be sleeping through the night, without feedings.

That rule works for kittens, but not necessarily for human babies...

You have 14-pound kittens? *boggles* *grins*

Yeah, the What to Expect book says that some breastfed babies may well still need a feeding at night. The last couple of nights, though, she has been willing to go back to sleep without nursing. *crosses fingers*
