Note to self: Regardless of what the doctor says, when the baby has been sick and not feeling herself *and* she just got two shots and so is even more out of her normal pattern, do NOT choose this night to let baby try to sleep through the night alone in her own room. Especially if you want to get some sleep.

Oh, right. Too late.

Oh, man... I'm sorry, Erin...

Go to bed early tonight (or tell hubby to take over while you take a long nap).

He's doing very well. Much more easy going than the first, as I hear is typical. Something about crazy first time parents. ;) He sleeps a lot more too. Now if we can get his older brother to take cues from the little one...

Sleep? Wassat? Eleven months doesn't seem to be enough for mine to figure this "sleep" thing out yet. Zzzzzz....

Anywho, sorry for the bad night! I hope tonight is better all around. *hugs*

er . . .

Doctor?

Is a doctor trying to encourage you to push her through the night?

1. The doctor is not living in your house.

2. What is being asked of a three month old infant is, in my educated opinion, contrary to mammalian biology.

But what do I know? I'm just one of those freakish co-sleepers with three incredibly smart and well-adjusted kids, despite them going through some major hell a few years ago.

Doctor says that a baby of 14 pounds at 3 months old has no reason to *not* be sleeping through the night, without feedings.

That rule works for kittens, but not necessarily for human babies...
